Senior Academy, Grades 9-11 - $590
3 hours private lessons, 10 hours repertoire class, 10 hours technique class, 10 hours comparative listening, 10 hours choir, choir performance, midday performances and lectures, assigned ensemble music, evening performances, complimentary admission to all Piano Academy Concerts

Intermediate Academy, Grades 5-8 - $480

2 hours private lessons, 3 hours practice supervision, 10 hours repertoire class, 10 hours technique class, 10 hours choir, midday performances and lectures, assigned ensemble music, evening performances, complimentary admission to all Piano Academy Concerts

Junior Academy, Grades Introductory-4 - $420
1.25 hours private lessons, 4 hours practice supervision, 10 hours repertoire class, 5 hours technique class, 10 hours choir, midday performances and lectures, assigned ensemble music, evening performances, complimentary admission to all Piano Academy Concerts

NEW! Adult Academy - $290
For adult amateurs and teachers ages 30 and up only. 2 private lessons, 10 hours in repertoire masterclass, and adult only concert opportunities.

Pedagogy Class with Winifred Wood - $360
July 5 - 9, 10:00am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 4:00pm
For teachers with any level of experience, this class focuses on teaching effectively in the standard repertoire. Students may attend events offered as part of the other Academies. Class held at the VCM.

Kelly Kirby Piano Class for Beginners - $90
July 5 - 9 and 12 - 16, 1:00pm – 2:00pm
A simple and attractive approach to music for children ages 4 - 6 taught by Erin Fisher. Designed to capture the imagination through singing, colouring, pasting and cut-outs, this note-reading and performance training method teaches ear training, sight reading and piano playing. Classes held at the VCM.

Individual Components

Students are encouraged to customize their Academy program by registering for the following optional extra components, which can also be taken individually.  Full course registrants have priority. For scheduling purposes, students are encouraged to sign up for individual components when registering.

Private Lessons - $55/hour
Practice Supervision (Grades Intro-8) - $18/hour
Sight Reading Class (5 hours) - $90
Ear Training Class (5 hours) - $90

Financial Assistance
Some bursary assistance will be available. Applicants must comply with all deadlines and requirements. Late applicants will not be considered for financial assistance.
